Located only 18 miles to the west of the A.T., Harrisonburg is the perfect place for A.T. hikers and visitors to take a break from the trail and explore locally-owned restaurants, shops, museums, art galleries, and events in our historic downtown. We invite you to come discover why Harrisonburg is known as "The Friendly City"!
We are partnering with Harrisonburg Tourism and downtown businesses to offer special packages for A.T. Hikers to make your stay an easier and more pleasant one. Check back often for updates.
